decision making

I think if we make the decision to go to the musuem, we supposted to go there because if we voted and decided go to the musuem of sex was because we were really interesting to go there. but i didn't voted for this musuem because i know that i cant get in.

many voices, one mission

yesterday, around all the united states many people was protesting for they rights. there was all of people fight for one mision they just want to stay in this country for work and help they family. they are not criminals they just are people who came to this country to prospect. we are immigrants like them. everybody who are in this country is a immigrant. everybody who are in this country came just for one reason, to work, study and get a better life. they just want that the goverment give them the opportunity to stay in this country and became legal immigrants this way they can continue working and reach the american dreams.

Immigrated illegal is a very difficult problem that exist in this country because all of people came to this country illegal without any documents or papers that are people who work hard and just came here to get a better life and help his family and many of this people because dont have papers sometimes have to do the most hard work. there are people who work in constrution or in agriculture. they are immigrants like us not because they dont have papers that means that they dont need the opportunity to get a good education or a job. the goverment should put more attention to this person who came here just to work and prosper. immigrants illegal should have the same treatment that a legal person have because they contribute with all of things to this country.

the dealt when you came to a new country

The most difficult aspect of immigrating to this country is when I got to left all my family in there and when you came to a new country with a new language that you have to learn it because when somebody talk to you and you don’t understand it you feel sad because you cant respond to this person but when you learn it and you understand it you feel good and you start to custom to this country.
The dealt that I got the first time was when my mom sends my papers to immigration for get the visa; I got to wait like 5 years to process all the papers. When was the day of the appointment I didn’t get the visa because the counselor tell my mom that she don’t have enough amount in the bank because my two brothers was here and she couldn’t have the three of us. That day my mom was very sad because I can’t get the visa. Then I got wait one year more and then my mom can send the papers again to immigration. Then they send the appointment but my mom couldn’t going to Dominican republic so I went with my aunt to the appointment and the counselor ask me some question I was very nervous we stay in there like 6 hour waiting for my turn to the interview. All the papers were correct and the same day I get my resident when my mom call she was so happy and me too I was so excited. I came to this country in October 20, 2003 thanks to my mom.
The immigration in the Dominican Republic is very different than here because for came to this country you need to have money if you want to process your papers faster. If you don’t have the money it takes long time. Some people send their cars to get visa. They do all possibly to try to get a visa to travel to another country to prospect and help their family in their home country.

TRIP TO THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM!!!

yesterday, it was a great day met with the rivka's class because i talk with different people from different country like china and japan. we receive a great treatment from part of them. it was good to know people like them. they were a very nice person. we share about the blogs and all kind of things that we do in the class. how we do the essays and the homework.

About the museum, it was a new experience for me. The most important thing that i saw yesterday in there was the exhibition of Egypt. i saw all the kinds of tomb, the jewelry that they used. Another things was the paintings it was very interesting the way that the author express the feelings of the person and they express it in a painting. I enjoy a lot and i would like to come back with my family or my friends because i want to learn the different places and culture of the united states.

Merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic.There is a lot of variety in Merengue music. Tempos vary a great deal and the Dominicans enjoy a sharp quickening in pace towards the latter part of the dance. The most favored routine at the clubs and restaurants that run a dance floor is a slow Bolero, breaking into a Merengue, which becomes akin to a bright, fast Jive in its closing stages. The ballroom Merengue is sloMerengue choreography is as follows: Men and woman hold each other in a vals-like position and step to their side in what is know as "paso de la empalizada" or "stick-fence step". They can then turn clockwise or counterclockwise. This is called Ballroom Merengue (merengue de salón), in which couples never separated. There is also what is called Figure Merengue (Merengue de Figura) in which dancers also make turns individualy, but never letting go the hand of the partnerwer and has a modified hip action.
